This post sits within the Quartermasters Department of Blandford Garrison Support Unit. The team complete a wide range of functions, but the primary aim is to provide support to 11 (RSS) Signal Regiment Phase Two and Three training, ensuring that all training resources are available, including accommodation, stationery and equipment. In addition to ensuring the training estate is maintained and the correct equipment is supplied to the instructors, the Quartermasters Department looks after both the hard and soft facilities management of all areas of Blandford Garrison.
Blandford Garrison Support Unit sits within The Defence School of Communications and Information Systems (DSCIS) under the Defence College of Technical Training (DCTT), which is responsible for delivering all technical training across Defence to meet the operational demands of the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the duties, hybrid / remote working is not supported.
The job holder will be a key part of the Quartermasters team, delivering G4 support to the units and personnel of Blandford Camp. Key duties include (but are not limited to):

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to changing requirements. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be able to demonstrate good customer service skills. You will also be IT proficient, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
