We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join as an administrative support officer providing comprehensive and proactive support to our senior leadership team.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
As an administrative support officer your role will be pivotal to supporting the wider senior leadership team with administrative support, coordination and preparation for relevant key meetings and events, and diary management.
We are looking for a motivated individual will has excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and can remain calm under pressure with a flexible approach to suit business needs.
The successful candidate will support a range of activities and will require the ability to deliver and process information efficiently and optimally, prioritise multiple and contending priorities, have good attention to detail and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), whilst maintaining a professional and confidential approach at all times.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance. The post does not offer relocation expenses.
External recruits who join the MOD who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a six-month probation period.
